OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY STATEMENT

Malachite is totally committed to providing a safe and healthy work place for its employees and contractors. A copy of the Company’s Occupational Health & Safety Policy is displayed prominently at all operating sites. Hazardous activities are avoided wherever possible, but when necessary, all employees and contractors are provided with and required to wear personal protective equipment. Training is provided where it is needed and properly minuted safety meetings are held at appropriate times in the course of the Company’s exploration activities, including at the start of each new drilling programme. Several of the Company’s staff and geological contractors hold current First Aid Certificates.
