Malachite Resources Limited is a successful mineral exploration company exploring for gold, silver, tin and other metals in Eastern Australia . We currently require a Field Operations Supervisor to lead our team of field assistants working in the Inverell Region.

Reporting to the Chief Geologist, the successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of exploration programs including the supervision of drilling and earthmoving contractors. Other important duties include management of our safety system, training of field assistants, and environmental rehabilitation.

Previous experience in mineral exploration/mining is preferred, however applicants who have worked in outdoor jobs in a supervisory capacity and have a strong work and safety ethic are welcome to apply. All applicants must be physically fit and hold a current Drivers Licence. An attractive salary is offered for this permanent staff position.
