Opera in the Paddock, by contrast, brings culture to the bush. Since 2002, Opera NorthWest has staged their very successful evening of opera highlights, bringing well-known opera singers, supported by a small orchestral ensemble, to the Inverell district in northern NSW. The success and popularity of the event has seen audiences grow from 700 to nearly 2000 in the few years it has been staged. We are pleased to support this happy community event which brings the locals together and also introduces outsiders to the beauty of the area. |
